Planned Project Area
The project area is about 25 square kilometers. It includes an eight-lane expressway linked with Pragati Swarani and Airport Road. This project has around 26,000 residential properties with 62,000 apartments planned to be constructed. The total area of Purbachal town is divided into 30 sectors. Among the total land area, 38.60% will be used as a residential area.

The initial estimated cost of the project was around BDT 3,312 crore (33.12 billion). After many extensions and changes in the project, the project cost increased to BDT 7,782 crore (77.82 billion). Out of 26,213 plots in the Purbachal Project, 24,724 have been handed over, and the handover of the remaining plots is ongoing.

The Purbachal Residential Project includes around 365 kilometers of roads, with 315 kilometers already constructed.
  • Electricity: Electricity has been provided in all sectors of Purbachal based on consumer demand. The estimated electricity demand for the township is around 1,103 MW. Between BDT 0.5-0.6 billion has been spent on establishing electric lines.
